Fashion for All Women
This illustration was inspired by the article A Masculine Silhouette, Tailored for Her by Bridget Huber. This article highlights the struggles of women who are "masculine-of-center", a term used to classify women who act and dress in traditionally masculine ways. This illustration was inspired by a classic picture of Dior, and shows how the fashion industry and starting to tailor to these women.
By alluding to this original image of Dior, I am showing that high fashion can be applied to all types of women. This model here is being fitted for pants as opposed to a beautiful gown. I push this idea in the final image where I make the model more robust and give her less curves.
